Dr. Danielle Citera is a New York–licensed clinical psychologist with focused experience treating anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, mood concerns, and complex emotional difficulties. She works primarily with adolescents and adults, with particular expertise in teens and emerging adults.

Her style is collaborative and compassionate while remaining practical and active. Together, clients develop a clear understanding of what is keeping a problem going, identify meaningful goals, and practice evidence-based strategies that translate beyond the therapy session.

Dr. Citera earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her PhD in Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University. Her clinical training and experience have included Stony Brook, Zucker Hillside Hospital, and NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
